We developed the first low-profile dual-axis sun tracking system for flat rooftops, which increases the output of any PV technology by a min of 50% with a lower LCOE compared with fixed tilt.

We utilize proven 40+% efficient cells, used on satellites, combined with concentrating optics, to deliver our cogeneration (PV+Thermal) systems with a combined output increase of 3.5 times fixed tilt PV.

Increased Energy Density

MAXUN Solar’s patented technology captures 4 to 6 times more solar energy from the same rooftop compared to using standard flat panels, by capturing 2.5 times the energy production (PV + thermal) per kWp using half the space

Reduced System Size

Using the thermal energy captured for cooling (air conditioning), cuts the demand for electricity by 30% (in Ontario) to 65% (in Arizona), and thus enabling the use of smaller system size. For example, 7 kWh MAXUN Solar system will suffice compared to a 10 kW flat panels.

Cold Climate Suitability

Our system has an advantage in snowy climate by the ability to tilt in order to knock off snow, therefore, no energy loss through snow coverage.

Hot Climate Suitability

Unlike traditional PV panels that lose up to 50% of their efficiency in hot climate due to efficiency degradation, our system is actively cooled, therefore, we solve the efficiency degradation problem in hot climate
